The people of the settlement were really good at clearing out any bodies from nearby before they bloomed, but it was still a very dangerous risk Settlements had fallen before because one person had inhaled a spore while too close to the wall, and then they had bitten others before being contained. This settlement in particular was very strict about the rules, Mafuyu could get in a lot of trouble if anyone had found out about her peeking over the walls.
