It was actually a very, very good thing Rin hadn't given his mother's name. There may have been fighting and possible death if that had happened.

Okumura had been a name Shiro had made up for the boys, to hide them. 'Rin' and 'Yukio' had been picked by their mother, who in Shiro's time had not given birth yet. So, he did not recognize any of those names.

It still bothered Shiro that Rin looked so familiar, but something caught his eye that instantly drew his attention away from this awkward conversation. Sitting in the seat of that truck was a very familiar sword, one which Shiro had just been looking for. Frowning, Shiro stepped around Rin to go peer in the truck, and eventually reach out to grab the sword.

"Oh? What's this here?"
