It's a call me out post! Just put the name of whichever character you want in your comment header, and I will tag you back!
My muselist is over here, so go ahead and take a look!

i've forgotten how to spell his name already
She just sort of shuffles in, though, leaning through the doorway more than she's actually entering it, glancing this way and that—she doesn't really know what to expect. Wish-granting stores are a weird concept; the people here could be crazies.]
You terrible person you
[Two small girls immediately run over to the door and begin running around Clover, chanting those same words over and over again. Instead of a doorbell, this shop has children. Best shop practices ever, clearly.
But they won't be bothering Clover for long, as a lanky teenage boy in an apron steps over soon to chase them away with a broom.]
Knock it off you two! Go get Yuuko!
[The children run away laughing, seemingly listening to Watanuki's instructions. In the meantime, Watanuki turns to Clover, using a much friendlier voice than what he had when addressing the two kids.]
Sorry about that. They get too excited over visitors.
i am doing my best
It's fine. [She actually steps into the store now, taking the time to look things over.] Is it that dead in here or are they just that enthusiastic?
no subject
For a moment, it might look like Watanuki's eye is twitching, but he quickly looks away and adjusts his glasses to hide that. Or at least try to hide that.]
They're just enthusiastic. Everyone in here is alive, I promise you that.
[Okay keep up the politeness, he's done this a thousand times before, it's nothing new to him.]
Are you here to see the shop owner?
no subject
Oh, uh, I'm...just looking? [that probably isn't how it works and she seems well aware of that] One of my coworkers was talking about this place, um, I wanted to check it out.
no subject
Well you're welcome to look around if you like, but there's not much to see. Just the entryway and then the sitting room. And I guess the kitchen, if you were really interested in something like that.
[There's bedrooms and a storeroom too, but those are not open to the public. Though they're not behind locked doors or anything, Clover could totally just go exploring and find them.]

["the thing"]
no subject
[Do you hear that sarcasm? Yeah he's always cooking food, and as soon as Yuuko hears that Clover likes food then the demands will be made.]
Yeah, that's 'the thing' here. Follow me, I'll show you to the sitting room.

Watanuki who is adorable
[Not a comment one should make about a shop that has someone to grant his wish in. Roxas at times lacks tact, and it's a good thing that there's no one out here to hear him. At least he doesn't think so. It was quieter than he expected it to be. Still... coming here hadn't been easy. This better have been worth the trip.
He steps up to the door and knocks on it, just to be polite.]
Hello? Is this place open?
no subject
I guess Yuuko was right, there is a guest here today.
[That was mumbled to himself, before he opens the door fully and steps aside so Roxas can come in.]
Welcome. You're here to see the shop owner, right? Come on in.
[The entry area is large enough for a few people to fit in, and there is an obvious place for shoes to go too.]
no subject
He takes a moment before nodding. Stepping in, he looks confused when he sees the shoes.]
Am I supposed to take my boots off?
[That's... different.]
no subject
[Watanuki is also shoeless, and there is a pair of black shoes at the entryway that look like they could be about his size.
Interestingly enough, that answer came automatically, like he is used to explaining it.]
When you're done, I'll show you to the sitting room. The shop owner should already be there.
no subject
Without complaint he takes his boots off and sets them down beside the other shoes. Huh. The other boys shoes are smaller than his own. This world is strange.]
Sitting room?
no subject
But Watanuki will go ahead and start down the hall, indicating that Roxas should follow him.]
You'll see, it's the room where she meets customers.
[The walls and doors look almost identical inside the house, so it's hard to keep track of where the doors actually are. Hell, the walls might actually BE doors. Who knows. But eventually Watanuki will stop and slide open a panel to his left.
There is a room beyond that door, with a giant rug and a low table sitting in the center of it. There is also a couch against one wall, but that couch is currently occupied by a woman with long black hair and a strange, flowing dress.]
Go on, go sit down.
[But there's no obvious chairs for Roxas to sit in, so.]
no subject
Roxas follows without another question. This world was getting stranger and stranger by the minute. The hall may as well never end. How can someone live like this?
How Watanuki could even tell there was a door... And the room wasn't most glamorous. Reminds him vaguely of the storage room in Agrabah, except much, much less sand, and neater. Roxas walks in, taking a look around, and assumes that he's supposed to sit on the floor. So he does.
..... should he wait till the woman says something?]
no subject
You have come a long ways to visit me.
[Watanuki is still there too, but he's by the door watching everything happen. Seeing Yuuko grant wishes is still pretty amazing to him.]

She knows she still has feelings for Ichigo but hadn't confessed to them, still; she also knows she has them for Watanuki, too. Despite everything, she knows she wants to see him again. She hadn't been able to find the shop for a while, trying out every old-looking building she could find. But she has to try.
Orihime stands in front of one, outside of its wooden fences. She steps down the path, up to the door and knocks. ]
no subject
And the yard, it was huge for a plot of land within the city. Easily large enough to fit a couple dozen people, if not more. Plenty of room for hosting guests.
The door slides open the moment Orihime knocks on it. Though there is nobody there to meet her, she will somehow know which way to go, as if she has walked the path a thousand times before.
Down the hall, through the last door, and then out that room to the backyard porch. Should she walk in that direction, Orihime will find a familiar face.]
no subject
Perhaps Watanuki, outside on the porch, is that reason.
Her eyes widen and her heart beats in anticipation, somehow in disbelief that the person she'd met a year ago is real. ]
Watanuki-kun?
no subject
But Watanuki is different now. Different from who he was when Orihime last saw him. He hasn't even spoken yet, but his mere posture is enough to give it away. He's lounging on the porch in one of his many kimonos, leaning back on one arm while his other hand holds a long pipe up to his mouth. A tobacco pipe, based on the smell it gives off. He takes a long, slow drag from it, and then he lets it out, the whole process taking several seconds.
Then, he turns his head to look over to Orihime. His face looks exactly the same as it did at the school. In fact, it looks like he hasn't aged a day. But his eyes, they look like the eyes of someone who has experienced decades more than his body says it has. You know those shinigami, the ones who have lived for centuries and have seen a lot of shit? Yeah, his eyes look like theirs now.
Still, he smiles. It's nothing like the energetic, slightly-embarrassed smiles he used to give. This smile is much closer to a sly grin, something that would look more natural on Urahara or Yoruichi.
It's still Watanuki, but something has changed within him.]
It's been a while, Inoue-san.
no subject
Orihime remembers that Watanuki was like her--innocent, still learning about the world, unaware of what the future would hold. She also remembers that they'd both had many burdens to bear from their worlds, and judging by how much...older, he seems, perhaps those burdens had been dealt with and put to rest. Who knows?
All she knows is that this is probably still Watanuki, even though he seems...changed. And yet...here she is. Still the same. Notably slightly different in appearance, but still the Orihime he knew. ]
...You are...Watanuki-kun, right?
no subject
[Even though she looks different, Watanuki absolutely still recognizes her. Her appearance may change, but her soul seems to have remained largely the same. That makes him look back on those days fondly. Even though they had experienced a lot of heartache, they had both grown a lot too. And somehow, despite the death, it had been fun.
Ah, memories.]
I'm surprised it took you so long to come here. I thought you would be one of the first to visit.
[Yeah, he. He's seen a few of their 'classmates' already.]
no subject
I'm sorry! I--I tried to look for you, but ah, I'm horrible with directions, and I had to finish high school--
[ She's getting all sentimental now. If he looks, he'll still see their friendship bracelet worn around her wrist. ]
I'm so glad I found you, Watanuki-kun...!
