[So. Guess who's trying to hide the birthday cards and flowers he received?
It's not that he hates his birthday, precisely, but he does hate the fact that the cards have 'Happy 50th birthday' right there on the front for everyone to see. He knows his family meant well, but it makes him feel old.
Also Mephisto's card is gaudy as fuck.
But yes, he's trying to hurry through the hall from the back door to his room, so he can discreetly hide these things that show his age.
Unfortunately, Stein and Marie's room is right across the hall from his, so it's unlikely that he'll make it without being seen.]
