She lets out a quiet laugh, her own face pretty damn red, too.]

I think we're gonna have to work on it...

[Rin smiles at him, still blushing but obviously not as bothered as he probably thought she was.]

I wouldn't mind that. It wasn't all bad.

[She tugged on his hand a little.]

[She shrugs, the collar of her too-big shirt slipping down a shoulder]

And it ain't like either of us ever dated before, right?

That's an understatement. I never even noticed girls, until now.

[There is a good possibility that Bon is just Rinsexual anyway. ]

It's still hard to believe that you've never dated, though. Even before the whole "spawn of satan" thing.

You were focused... can't blame ya for that. 'sides, it's kinda... somethin' to be admired, I guess?

[Rin will not complain about that in the least.

She smiles up at him, leaning back on her hands a little as she looks up at the ceiling with a wistful sigh.]

Naaah... not that hard t'believe. Remember how I was when I came in to the class? I was worse before I met everyone. No one wanted to be around me! Let alone date me.

[kyotoprincess]

I dunno, I think Kuro would, if a human and a cat could date.

[He says this teasingly.]

[That gets a snort and a laugh from Rin.]

Okay, Kuro maybe. I didn't know Kuro back then though! Or... you or anyone...

[the laughter subsides in to a soft, thoughtful sigh.]

I wonder if I woulda been a different person, if I had known you sooner...

I dunno, I was a little shit as a kid. We might've fought even more than we do now.

[Sure, their arguments usually stem from caring for each other, but they're still arguments.]

Yeah but that's what kids do anyway.

[She reaches over and prods him in the side gently.]

So what brought this on all of a sudden?

[kyotoprincess]

[He frowns, both at the prodding and the question.]

I dunno, I guess I was just thinking about it. We've been dating for three months now, and we haven't really done anything.

[hellpyre]

[Heaven forbid the girl you just tried to kiss actually touch you. Geez.]

Well... yeah, but there's been other things on our mind. I mean... I wouldn't mind doin' other stuff with you, but I haven't really been all that worried about it.

Hell, most of the time it's just nice to come home after workin' all day in the kitchen and just spend time with you...

[She trailed off a little there, the hand she had used to prod him with settling next to his on the bed. Another bit of red crept in to her cheeks as she added something with a slightly more sheepish tone:]

I really wouldn't... mind doin' other things with you, though...

[He goes pink too, and suddenly he looks away. He thinks he knows what Rin is talking about, and truth be told the thoughts were in his mind too.]

...yeah, me too.

[He admits it so Rin doesn't feel awkward for bringing it up. Also because he wants to see where this goes.]

[Even though he had tried to kiss her not twenty minutes ago, she wasn't expecting to hear him respond with that after what she had said. Her face does a nice job of going completely red all the way to her ears, and she ducks her head down as if that's going to hide it.

Crap what do.]

W-well uhm...

[WELL IT HAD TO BE SAID. It's not like they have to worry about ruining things forever or anything, the world is already broken.]

We. We don't have to do anything, if you're not ready.

[Bon is curious, but he won't press the issue either.]

[True. And if they could survive something like Kyoto and all that shit together it's highly doubtful lesser things would really wreck their relationship any.

And she'd be lying if she said she wasn't curious, too.

Her fingers inch towards his across the small gap between them, threading through with a bit of uncertain hesitance. Slowly she looked back up at him, blue eyes as vivid as ever through the mess of black fringe over them.]

[He might sound a little hopeful. Maybe. Because let's face it, even though he ignores anything romantic 99% of the time, he still has a sex drive. And he's a teenage boy. It is a normal thing to be curious about.

He'll look down at their hands, threaded together, and then back up at Rin. If she wants to, he will, but he's got to make sure first.]

Yeah. Well... I-I mean if you want to...

[Hey she's gotta make sure, too.]

Well, yeah, sure.

[A pause, and he looks away again, awkwardly.]

[Bon pls.

Rin straightens up a bit, reaching with her other hand to prod him in the cheek this time.]

C'mon, I'm not that scary, am I?

[Frown frown frown

The next part is said in monotone.]

[hellpyre]

[God, so serious.]

But he knows he's being uptight, and he sighs.]

[At least he realizes it.]
