[Well, usually big people act like demons or something are living in their house, when they find out about the tiny people that live in floors and walls. Being discovered is usually a death sentence.

Truthfully, if Shiro didn't have his young sons to care for, he probably would have left anyway. It's better to be safe than sorry, and trusting the tall people was always a bad decision. But with two boys who were just barely walking, and with everything they would need...moving would be a huge hassle.

Plus, Ichigo looks like he's being honest. He doesn't look like the type who would be able to fake honesty, either.
