[Shiro lifts his head just far enough to shoot Stein a confused look.]

Isn't that all wilderness and death and stuff?

That's right. Wilderness, death, and ranchland. The person I'm taking you to meet runs a cattle station in the Northern Territory. Tomorrow, we need to find a reliable enough car to get us there, and supplies for the trip.

I wasn't planning on staying in Australia forever, but if you think you're ready to spend your life wandering around the desert looking for angry cows, I won't stop you.
