Not that it wasn't obvious from the very start. She'd wait, naturally; she didn't mind doing that from the very start, and more importantly, she was well aware of how much the boss meant to him.]

[While normally Kyouka doesn't say much, only cutting straight to the point and just simply following the orders that the mafia gave her... these words were from the heart.

She doesn't want him to go back. Not if it meant that horrible things would happen to him. He was practically the only family she had left available to her, even if they're not related by blood.]

[Even Kyouka, the girl of few words, is warning him? It must be bad. Really bad.

Luckily he had no intentions on going back in the first place. But now that she's here, his plans will have to change slightly.]

Kyouka-chan, did anyone follow you here?

[Looks like their plans will definitely have to change, considering the situation.

But at his question, she simply, quietly shakes her head.]

[So they sent her out unguided, with nobody watching to make sure she complied. It was a bit of fortune that makes Atsushi suspicious, and ultimately puts him in a bad position. He knows they will track both of them down, especially if Kyouka is lost too. But at the same time, he can't abandon her. The punishment for coming back without him would be too great.

It takes him all of five seconds to decide what to do.]

It's a desperate wish, and yet-]

[Where will they go? Where could they possibly go?]

Somewhere not here.

[He doesn't even know either. But the world is big, isn't it? Surely they can find somewhere to belong.]

Maybe...somewhere outside of Yokohama. Anywhere.
