also cw vague torture mentions because you know, mafia.
There were many murmurs of him being a traitor. Sometimes even worse — that he was the one who murdered their boss.
After all, none of them had heard a single word about him in days.
It's only natural that something must have happened. Which is why the mafia decides to send the only other person that was close to him.
Kyouka.
They tell her to bring him back, dead or alive. It didn't matter which, really. If he was dead, then all the better. They could blame the weretiger for their boss' death and crown a new leader. If he was alive, they could really hurt him in front of the others.
Basically, they'd make a name for themselves for punishing the White Reaper.
Yokohama, however, is a large city. It's difficult for one girl to scope out and search, especially when there are police about, but she's managing to stay out of sight. At least, for now.
Of course, the moment she spots Atsushi, staying out of sight is no longer an option. Because instead she's going to attempt to sneak up on him from behind. There's no intention to kill yet, but she is definitely tugging on a sleeve, if she can.]

It hadn't been enough to shake Kyouka, though. Of course Kyouka would be able to track him anywhere. Her being sent after him had been the obvious choice.
That's why, when he sees signs of being tailed, he walks away from the safety of the Agency and moves to a big, open place. A park, not too far from the port. And once there, he sits on a bench and waits. She'll come to him, he's sure of it. She never could leave him alone.]
no subject
It was not always in a good way, but it definitely was there. Even if there were so many people to look through she would always find him. She had to.
There wasn't anyone left for her at the Port Mafia.
She was all alone now.
So here we are. She does not say anything, but she does stand there, looming over him.]
no subject
[It is said quietly, without him even looking up to her. Because he knows she's there, and there's no point in delaying this conversation any further.
There is indeed a spot open on the bench right next to him too, so she can sit down.]
no subject
That was probably made obvious by the clicking of her geta on the ground. Quiet, she answers:]
... Alright.
[She was never one to mince words as she takes a seat next to him on the bench, fixing the kimono she was wearing.]
They want you back.
[Just going to go straight to the point.]
no subject
[He sounds unsurprised by this, though. The mafia never lets go of anyone that easily, he had expected someone to come for him eventually.
Still, he has to ask:]
How bad is it right now?
no subject
[That's how bad it is.]
no subject
Give him a moment, Kyouka. He has to breathe and steady himself there. Even thinking of that night is still too much for him.]
They think I killed the boss, and they want me back? They must have quite the plans for me, hmm?
[He knows exactly what they have in mind, which is part of why he's never going back.]
no subject
Not that it wasn't obvious from the very start. She'd wait, naturally; she didn't mind doing that from the very start, and more importantly, she was well aware of how much the boss meant to him.]
... Yes.
[She isn't stating it outright, but Atsushi probably has a good idea of what exactly those plans might be, and, well-
They're not good.]
You can't go back.
[While normally Kyouka doesn't say much, only cutting straight to the point and just simply following the orders that the mafia gave her... these words were from the heart.
She doesn't want him to go back. Not if it meant that horrible things would happen to him. He was practically the only family she had left available to her, even if they're not related by blood.]
no subject
[Even Kyouka, the girl of few words, is warning him? It must be bad. Really bad.
Luckily he had no intentions on going back in the first place. But now that she's here, his plans will have to change slightly.]
Kyouka-chan, did anyone follow you here?
no subject
But at his question, she simply, quietly shakes her head.]
no subject
It takes him all of five seconds to decide what to do.]
Come with me, then.
no subject
It's a desperate wish, and yet-]
. . . where?
[Where will they go? Where could they possibly go?]
no subject
[He doesn't even know either. But the world is big, isn't it? Surely they can find somewhere to belong.]
Maybe...somewhere outside of Yokohama. Anywhere.
no subject
[She doesn't know what she should say, honestly.]
Then. . . let's go.
also this is for dazai bc you can fite me 1v1 ig
Who the hell knows? She was probably yeeted here by Hanyuu and here she is now, apparently. Although it definitely was a rough landing, as is obvious by her rather childish pout.]
Mii.
[So.
Dazai now has a child - or rather, someone that looks like one - here. What does he do?]
no subject
Eh? A prank?
[It has to be, nobody would seriously leave a small child in his care. Just look at what happened to Akutagawa.
...unless this is Mori's doing?]
Little girl, you're not being chased by a creepy old man in a black coat, are you?
no subject
[unless it is and nobody told her but
¯\_(ツ)_/¯]
Although I haven't been chased by anybody, sir.
you know what i want....
Just.
Watching him with a bit of a huff.]
no subject
The acrid smell of dried blood is present in his cell, though, and it has been for a while now.
He doesn't even look up to Lucy when she checks on him either. He's just sitting there, unmoving.]
no subject
Are you seriously going to lay in there all day, tiger boy?
no subject
That's definitely not a human eye, though.]
no subject
. . . good kitty?
[oh my god Lucy no]
no subject
But Atsushi blinks, and his eyes are back to normal. Maybe it was just a glimpse of the power within him? A warning perhaps? Who knows.]
What do you want?
[Oh look, it's the first time he's spoken!]
no subject
nevertheless, Lucy seems to calm down, hand at her heart as she stifles the sigh of relief that she wants to do right now.]
I came here to check on you.
[because
she literally has nothing else to do tbh]
no subject
[Yep, he's totally guessing that's the reason. Why else would anyone want to see a broken-down shell of a man?]
no subject
no subject
[He sighs, but says nothing else. Go ahead and ask, Lucy. He may or may not answer the question.]
fukuzawa
[He grunts as he looks towards Fukuzawa walking towards him. They're suppose to be taking care of something, but he swears he hasn't seen the man in at least a few hours.
Now he's wondering if this pair up was a mistake.]
What did you find?
Ango
But fine, he said it was important, so....]
Ask your question. I'm busy.
