[It's been a few days since the Guild had picked up this new ability user and Lucy already was annoyed with him. And it's because of that annoyance that she finds Atsushi, frowning at him but not exactly saying anything.

Just.

Watching him with a bit of a huff.]

[Lucy isn't in for much, because just as he has been for the last few days Atsushi is sitting against the wall of his cell, knees drawn up to his chest. He obviously has to move eventually, any food left for him has been consumed and he has to sleep at some point, but just peeking in it might seem like he hasn't moved at all.

The acrid smell of dried blood is present in his cell, though, and it has been for a while now.

He doesn't even look up to Lucy when she checks on him either. He's just sitting there, unmoving.]

[annedere]

[Cue the longsuffering sigh.]

Are you seriously going to lay in there all day, tiger boy?

[moonlightbeast]

[Well, that gets him to crack open an eye and peer at Lucy, at least?

That's definitely not a human eye, though.]

[annedere]

[UM]

. . . good kitty?

[oh my god Lucy no]

But Atsushi blinks, and his eyes are back to normal. Maybe it was just a glimpse of the power within him? A warning perhaps? Who knows.]

What do you want?

[Oh look, it's the first time he's spoken!]

nevertheless, Lucy seems to calm down, hand at her heart as she stifles the sigh of relief that she wants to do right now.]

I came here to check on you.

she literally has nothing else to do tbh]

That bored, huh?

[Yep, he's totally guessing that's the reason. Why else would anyone want to see a broken-down shell of a man?]

It's true that I'm bored but if I went there simply just for that, I would have just stayed in Anne's room instead.
