[ He still can't just fully admit it. Also it's still foreign to be cared for like this. Aqua was nice and did her best, but she always kept a respectable space between them. It's different with John.

He'll opt to lay down, putting his head on his lap and turning his face towards John. Let's talk other things. ]

What about the others you were working with?

[windyheir]

The others? Like, Marona and Shiro and stuff?

[Everyone knew Marona was GG by the end of it, which left Shiro as TG.

Also, while Vanitas lays in his lap, John uses his hand to tuck a stray bit of Vanitas' hair behind his ear.]

[darkremnants]

[ He'll tilt his head towards that hand. He can keep touch if he wants. ]

Shiro is the last one. I don't think I've heard about him, yet.

[ He has seen that one conversation on John's phone weeks ago. The babysitter of Dazai. ]

[windyheir]

[He's definitely going to keep touching Vanitas' hair, then. He's gently moving it around with his fingers, trying to keep Vanitas' face clear, as he speaks.]

He's a grumpy old guy. Well, not old old, but he's like 40 or something. He's got two kids but he also keeps an eye on a bunch more. That's how I met him: when I went looking for Marona, he tried to punch my face in.

[darkremnants]

[ Maybe getting sick wasn't such a bad thing if he's getting all of this attention.

He snickers at that. ]

Did he get a look at you first?

[ Since John doesn't look like someone who would be a threat. ]

Is he the one that gave you the talk?

[windyheir]

Of course he did, I wasn't in disguise yet. He still tried to punch.

And what do you mean 'the talk'?

[darkremnants]

[ John, you look like a nerd out of disguise. He'll come back to this part in a bit when he's not using his lap as a pillow. ]

The sex talk.

[ This is a good place to bring that up. It seems like he's feeling better if he's bringing that up. ]

[windyheir]

Pfft, no, of course not. I was already an adult when I met him. Mom's the one who had that talk with me.

[It's probably not a good place for that talk, since public carnival, but whatever. He has a lap full of Vanitas and he's not paying attention to anyone else.]

[ Moving his arm to loosely wrap around John. Also he meant about the talk their make outs inspired.

Though this is now sending his mind down another path, which is their destination with this little trip. ]

So what are you going to tell her when we see her?

[ Is he going to be a really close friend that John occasionally makes out with and shares a bed with or..? ]

[windyheir]

I know what I want to say: I want to tell her that you're my boyfriend and that we're seeing each other.

[It's surprising that he can say something so openly.]

But if you don't want to be called that, I can say something else. What do you think?

[darkremnants]

[ Wow. Just going to bury his face in his lap because he's going red. He didn't expect that. ]

You can tell her that if you want.

[windyheir]

Definitely gonna tell her that, then.

[He's got a goofy grin on his face now, one that persists as he leans in to kiss Vanitas' forehead.]

She'll be happy, I think. But uh, maybe don't mention how much we bone.

[darkremnants]

[ Defeat him with that and then defeat the sweetness all in one go. Good job. Snickering a bit, as he moves in to just nuzzle against his stomach. Take this. ]

Maybe we should work on boning really quietly then.

[ In case boning happens there. He really, really likes this nerd. ]

Eew, we're not boning at mom's house.

[She might hear and he'll never live it down if his own mom catches him having sex. Even knowing that it happens might be too much.]

We can get a hotel room and bone there, loud or quiet.

[darkremnants]

[ Laughing at that. John really makes the best faces. ]

I do like it when you can do your loud porno girl sounds.

[ Sitting up to just lean his back against John's side. Staying in his lap is nice, but their current conversation is going to inspire other ideas. ]

What's the ride that is the big circle?

[windyheir]

[John rolls his eyes at that first comment. Yes, he does make the best loud porno girl sounds during sex, but that's not the point here!

And Vanitas has the right idea to distract him with talk of other rides. They need to keep things clean at the carnival, after all.]

You mean the one with those bars you can hang onto? That one's fun, yeah. It uses the spinning to keep you pinned to the wall without a seatbelt.

[ Can't get kicked out until they do everything at least. He does grab his hand to lace their fingers together. Though pinned to the wall also kind of inspires ideas. ]

Any rides where we can stay close?

[ Maybe they should try one of those mini fun houses with the mirrors or a ferris wheel. ]

[windyheir]

[As if they haven't pinned each other in many different places before.]

What about the ferris wheel? We'd share a seat.

[And they can keep their hands together like they are now, John likes this.]

[ They are both very pinnable. Leaning his head back on to his shoulder to try to look at him. Hello. ]

The big one, right?

[ It's something he's seen on tv at least, but making sure it's not the merry-go-round.

He'll reluctantly scoot off the bench, keeping John's hand held to tug him with. ]

[windyheir]

Yeah, the big circle over there.

[They can lean on each other shortly. Besides, the ferris wheel is the most romantic ride, they can be schmoopy there.

Luckily the line isn't too long for it either, as it's not that exciting of a ride.]

[darkremnants]

[ Any and all schmoop that happens will be blamed on John.

It's good that it's not an exciting ride since he's not at 100%. He's also less overwhelmed with this line compared to the others. Letting go of John's hand to just put an arm across his shoulders. Might be a little needy at the moment.

His attention seems to be on the ride itself as they get closer and closer. Watching people load on to the carriages and trying to figure out how long it takes. Maybe they can convince the ride operator to let them go a second time.

Then it's their turn and he'll let John get on first before settling down beside him. ]

Are we going to get kicked out for fooling around on here?

[windyheir]

[Wow rude, don't just blame him!]

I think if you keep the hands above the waist we should be fine.

[After all, the ferris wheel is the prime spot for makeouts. But yeah John will climb in and slide over so Vanitas can get in as well.]

[darkremnants]

[ Look, he wasn't stupidly sappy before John.

Sitting down and putting his hand on John's leg. ]

What about here?

[ He's being a shit on purpose. ]

[windyheir]

Not above the waist! We'll get kicked out!

[His face says he is being a cheeky shit tho.]

[darkremnants]

[ He sees that face. Giving his thigh a squeeze as he gives his own cheeky look. ]

Not like anyone would know.

[ There's a pause as if he's considering it, but he does relent. Vanitas slides his hand behind John's back. Getting comfy and checking out the view as they climb higher. They can see more and more of the fair grounds. They can probably even spot minions or other prizes hanging off game stalls. does john like minions Sneaking a look over at John to see if there's anything he's looking at. ]
