Starry Night at the Carnival
What do you usually do first?
[ Look babe, you get to take the lead here. He stuffs his hands in his pockets, but is standing close enough to brush his arm against John's. ]
no subject
It's time to introduce you to the wonders of fair food. Come on.
[He's going to grab for Vanitas' arm to tug him along, even if his hand is in his pocket. Time to go find a funnel cake stand.]
no subject
[ Giving a smirk at that. Letting himself be lead over to the stand before pulling his hand out of his pocket to snag his hand instead. Look, they can be public so he's going to make the most out of it.
The fried smell with the sweet should be illegal though. It smells great. Peeking over at people's plates full of a swirly looking thing with powder sugar or nutella all over. ]
We might need to get two.
no subject
[They can indeed be public! They're in a small town far away from anyone in the Foundation, so they don't have to be agents for the night. They can be a couple of teenagers on a date at an amusement park, and nobody would ever know otherwise.
John has a big grin on his face as he tugs Vanitas along, reluctant to let go of that hand now that it's been offered.]
Let's get one regular and one with strawberry on it, then. That way you get the best of both worlds.
[The fried dough is the best part, though. Toppings are secondary to that.]

noodle!
Hello, Watanuki Kimihiro. [ At least he knows his name from trial chatter. ]
no subject
[He will use that name unless instructed otherwise. Also they can meet in one of the sitting rooms, one that overlooks the backyard so Nora can chase Mokona around or something.]
no subject
I was hoping we could discuss the future, and all it holds. As you have likely ascertained by now, neither I nor Nora have any intention of rejoining the Foundation even with their latest changes in protocol and decorum. It was quite noticeable that you and the denizens of this shop are not aligned with them as well.

May I have the noodle, please~?
But he's here for a reason and that's enough to spur him forward. Standing straight, he knocks on the door because he has no other idea of what the protocol is for doing this. Things were different during the Witches' Game, his previous wish granted in that other place. His heart's racing. He needs to know for certain if this is a wish he can pay for without damaging who he is.]
no subject
It's been a while, hasn't it?
no subject
[That’s despite that little encounter at the LodgeThough now might not be the best time to flick Watanuki in the forehead for enabling certain parties into becoming more powerful.]
Those two aren’t here right now, I hope. I have a rather delicate matter to discuss with you, though I’m guessing you already know what I want to ask.

She could just let it pool up more and drain it less often, but she is nothing if not a thirsty 17 year old living with her boyfriend, and she will take advantage of that whenever possible.
Today is quieter, so she's going looking for him. Hopefully he doesn't have a lot of work to get to, as when she spots him and thoroughly confirms that they are alone in the room, she slinks up and wraps her arms around him from behind.]
Found you. It's time for me to kidnap you for a little while.
Everyone wants noods I guess
He's also been frustrated with how busy the shop is, much like Sakura has been. He knows it's impossible for everyone to have no clue what they're about to do, but he would like to at least have the illusion of privacy.
Thankfully everyone else is either out in the yard or off to another world at the moment, and a knowing smile slips onto his lips as those arms find their way around his waist. ]
Oh no, I've been captured. I guess I have no choice but to get kidnapped. Hopefully my kidnapper shows me mercy.
no subject
[ She rests her head on his shoulder and her grip gets tighter, until she's pressing herself against his back
...she has something she kind of wants to do, but if Watanuki would rather not have her toss him around again, she's fine with it. She was surprised that he seemed to like it in the first place. ]

silentSovereign: privately, if you don't mind
[ Because that's not offputting in the slightest?? Real great job not worrying him, Azura. She shoots him that message maybe a week after they'd all had their Great Wolf Lodge vacation, because she...really needs some closure, here. Closure she didn't seek out while they were all still in danger of dying horribly.
She won't give any details over text (aside from the fact that no one's hurt or anything), infuriatingly enough, because this is Azura and she's really good at being infuriatingly cryptic.
If he's amenable to that, though, she sends him the address of a park about a half-hour walk away from Site 2. And...fails to specify where she will be, because again it's Azura and whenever he gets there he'll be able to hear singing in the distance. ]
Tanto tempo fa un uccello fatale di nome Chromaggia
Incrocio in volo la freccia di un arciere lungo le coste di lava
[ So uh
1) Azura can sing opera. Surprise.
2) oh my god could she have picked a more ominous-sounding song. what the fuck. is she trying to give John a heart attack here ]
Per anni, persando di essere inseguita, scappo dalla freccia
Chromaggia, Chromaggia
Perche non affronti il pericolo?
La freccia era legata all’ala e lei volava per liberarsene
[ She's....just sitting on a bench, singing, in a more secluded area of the park. Not doing anything unusual. She did bring her new lance with her, though. With the crystal from Graveryl on the tip. It's just RPG-looking enough to be mistaken for a cosplay prop.
It's unusual, though, in that when she sees him, her voice cracks and she stops singing. ]
Tirando la freccia, altri son ferriti per mia colpa--
[ Hi John. This conversation isn't going to be fun. ]
no subject
He eyes that crystal, as he knows what it's from and what it can be used for. But he also trusts Azura, so after a short pause he finally takes a seat next to her on the bench, holding onto the seat with his hands. He resembles a child who knows he is in trouble and is just waiting for the scolding, since he doesn't want to interrupt her song. Even when angry, her singing is beautiful.]
no subject
[ Her fingers curl loosely around her lance, but it's purely for her own self-motivation. It's her engagement ring. A reminder that none of this is the end of the world, even if it might feel like it is. ]
Giu! Verso la bocca del diavolo!
La sua frecchia, i miei occhi!
Chromaggia, come take these eyes
I would rather be blind
[ Azura takes a moment to catch her breath, because she doesn't sing opera often and it's predictably tiring on her voice. When she does speak up, she doesn't look at him, just gazing out into the trees. ]
I take it you don't speak Italian. Neither do I, but it's a beautiful-sounding language. That song is called "Chromaggia."
Chromaggia was a bird who was hit by an arrow as she was flying. As she flew, the arrow lodged itself in her wing. For years she flew, thinking she was still being chased by the arrow. But all she did was damage the things around her by dragging the arrow with her. But one day, she realized the hurt she caused by dragging the arrow with her, and tried to rip it out.
"By dragging this arrow, I have wounded others with my carelessness, my carelessness!"
[ she uh
sure picked a fitting song for this meeting ]

Atsushi's got a hoodie pulled up high over his head and dark sunglasses. It all looks rather comical and shady honestly, but that's what's necessary right now. There was an SCP--an object, of some sort--that had come into the hands a rich man with enough money for a significant amount of security, armed guards and all. Suspicions were that he'd been using it for his own gain, but there wasn't a lot of information about what, exactly, it did.
Atsushi stares up at the building, gulping quietly.]
Well... we should probably try to look around and figure out the guard's schedules, right? So we can sneak in.
no subject
Right, we can figure out their schedules and take them out in hidden locations. We may need to take their clothes too, so try not to shoot them too much.
[YEAH HE. HAS NO OBJECTIONS TO KILLING THE GUARDS.]
no subject
Jealous is not at all what he's feeling at the other's plan, though. His sunglasses slide down his nose as his eyes widen and he shakes his head, vehement. He remembers himself just enough to tug the hoodie up a little higher, determinedly hiding his hair.]
What? No! We don't have to kill anyone! We can just knock them out and tie them up, can't we? And... I guess take their clothes, since that might be useful.
[Ew. But he's not going to argue about that particular, either.]

But this is his loser, so John just smiles and leans against Vanitas in return. And he'll answer by text message too.]
