There's this hotshot 20-something exorcist who is really fucking talented but has an ego the size of the empire state building so many of his coworkers simply tolerate his presence. But he's always busy with work and doesn't get nearly enough time for recreation.
So what is he doing on his first day off in the last month? Buying booze and cigarettes, of course. And some food too, but that is vastly outnumbered by the other, more important supplies.
It's only a one-night party, he's got to go back to work tomorrow, but he's going to make it count. Because he doesn't get nearly enough days off, and he's getting to the point where clubs annoy him.
Clearly he needs to meet someone else and do something besides get drunk at home, right?]

Mephisto's a student at the academy, Shiro's still an exorcist, but he does check in on Mephisto from time to time to make sure that the kid is ok. Because he seems like a ball of trouble and badfeelings so Shiro wants to make sure he stays on the right track.
Today, though, he is at his office trying to dodge work. See, his office is waaaay up in one of the many odd-buildings that sticks out of that mountain of buildings that is True Cross Town, so it's pretty out-of-the-way. Meaning people don't often go by it, and Shiro can have his privacy.

He decides to bug Shiro today for many reasons. One, he doesn't have class. Two, it's been a while. And three, he's lonely and has questions. So, he doesn't knock on the door, he just opens it, and steps inside. Hey, if it's unlocked, he's here.
Shutting the door behind him, he looks at the man from across the room.]
