TIGER SQUARED
[It's the bright light that gets to Atsushi first, making him squint as he holds up an arm to shield his eyes. It's so bright here, brighter than his own world. Maybe it's because he's outside during the day, instead of sleeping off his insomnia and waiting for night time? Who knows.
But this world is different.
It's 'a world in which Dazai-san didn't die.'
He knows what he's done is unforgivable. He knows that, if Dazai remembers anything, he'll hate Atsushi forever. But Atsushi doesn't care. He went three months knowing how to save Dazai and not giving in to that temptation. Three long, long months. Then the temptation just became too great, and he gave in.
'Maybe, with some experimenting, I can find a world where they both live.' That is his thought process.
That will take time to sort out, though, and the book apparently has a cooldown before it can be used again. So Atsushi will have to live in this world for ten days, and come up with a plan of action for his next attempt.
Pulling up his hood, Atsushi glances around nervously. He has the book tucked safely into an inner pocket of his coat, but it feels heavy there. It's the most precious thing he has ever handled, and he knows he has to keep it safe. Because if he loses it, then he loses his chance to fix everything. And if he loses his chance to fix everything, then he will have betrayed Dazai's trust for nothing. Even he couldn't survive that.
But here in Yokohama, in the middle of the day, Atsushi might learn a few things. Like how he's not the only 'Atsushi' around, and that by writing 'I want to see Dazai-san again' he has made it so he exists in this world too, when he really shouldn't. It's going to become a big mess very, very soon.]

Not that he was able to hide it to begin with. ]

Nakajima chuckles before planting a kiss on the top of Atsushi's head. Slow it is, then, he can do that. He works at Atsushi's shirt first, untucking it further so he can have more access to his other self's body. Then he slips his hand in and smooths it against Atsushi's back. ]

Like really?
Although feeling his hands under his skin makes his breath hitch a bit, moving his hands to Nakajima's shoulders.
Now he has to ask. ]
What about you, by the way? Have you done it before?
no subject
A couple times.
[He says as his hands are shoved up the back of Atsushi's shirt. ]
Not on this side of things, though. That part is new to me.
no subject
With who?!
[ Although there's a bit of a strangled noise when the hands go up behind his shirt, making him squirm in the bed a little bit. ]
no subject
Don't you like Dazai-san too?
1/several.... i'm so sorry maple
/i'll let you know when i'm done
3/3 ok i'm good
Why are we talking about this now?
[ He's hopelessly naive and hasn't figured out that he's talking about 'like' in a way that's.
More than just friendship. ]
no subject
[Just. Give him a moment.]
...
I should probably tell you about what my Dazai-san and I got up to, in order to paint you an accurate picture of what I mean here.

Well if it's not him, then who do you think about?
no subject
when they're not going to fuck each other? ]
I don't. . . really think of anyone, really.
[ that's so sad

You just admitted to jerking it! If you don't think of anyone, then what the hell are you even doing?

You're not into like. Tentacles or whatever, right?
[He's still saying this with his hands shoved up the back of Atsushi's shirt.]

[...]
Probably.
no subject
[Which means they should probably get serious about this. Probably.]

No, of course not. It just sounds weird!

[Unless Atsushi is actually into that? But Nakajima doubts a virginal person like him would understand the joys of being restrained like that.]
Give me some credit, I know what I'm doing! It won't be bad.
no subject
Although he's not going to say it. ]
Alright, alright. I trust you.
