This is the post for anything romantic with my characters! Love at first sight, confessing feelings, going on dates, whatever. If it is romantic, it goes here.

My muselist is Over here, so just comment with the name of whatever character you want in the header. If I play more than one version of a certain character, be sure to specify which version.

[Oh right. School. That thing which takes the boys away all day.

Which means Stein can hang out all night and then all day. Perfect.]

And if you boys are good and go to sleep right away, I'll even make fried eggs for breakfast in the morning.

[Which is about the extent of Shiro's cooking abilities.]

[circumsutus]

I'll make rösti. [Stein is not above bribing encouraging good behavior by offering hashbrowns.]

[lionson]

[It is a perfect bribery. So perfect that, as soon as they get home, the kids immediately run to their room to go get ready for bed.

As soon as they get out of earshot, Shiro glances over to Stein.]

It'll take them about ten minutes to get ready for bed, and then another twenty to actually fall asleep.

[Meaning they have to look as boring as possible for another half-hour, so the kids don't change their minds about going to bed to avoid chores.]

[circumsutus]

Well, I'll start the laundry, and you can work on the dishes. [They can be something like mature for a half hour.]

[lionson]

[THE MOST RESPONSIBLE ADULTS]

Sounds good. You want to read their bedtime story to them?

[circumsutus]

Do you want me reading a bedtime story to them?

[lionson]

What, you're telling me you can't manage "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"?

[circumsutus]

That's boring. I'll find a Bible story to tell them.

[lionson]

At least use the kid's bible in their room.

[It glosses over all the really gross and horrifying parts.]

Remember, we don't want to give them nightmares.

[circumsutus]

So, not the death of Jezebel? [Not actually one he'd seriously considered, but properly horrifying, if told well.

Being shoved out of a window, breaking your neck, and then being eaten alive by dogs is obviously a good one.]

[lionson]

No, no death of Jezebel. And stay away from Cain and Abel too, and Joseph.

[Anything involving brothers being horrible to each other, mostly.]

David and Goliath might make a good bedtime story.

[circumsutus]

Hmmm.

Which of them is Cain? [Shiro should recognize the slight change in tone, the way his expression goes vaguely contemplative.

The boys are good kids, but there's no way to know what might happen later on.

[lionson]

In terms of age, Rin is, he's slightly older.

If you mean the other part, hopefully neither of them.

[No kids murdering kids plz]

[circumsutus]

I guess we'll see eventually.

[Then, subject change.]

Maybe we should build Jericho out of futons and knock it down...

[And off Stein goes to do just that with the boys.]

[lionson]

That's not- Stein!

[Oh no you don't.

Shiro is following after Stein now.]

[circumsutus]

That's not what, Shiro?

Are you planning on stifling the boy's creativity?

[lionson]

We're supposed to be getting the ready for bed, not winding them up.

[knocking down futon forts is indeed fun, though. Maybe they could let the kids stay up longer for funtiems.]

[circumsutus]

It should wear them both out.

[lionson]

[This is a good point. With so much sugar in them from the cake, they might not go right to bed.

But. lol admitting Stein is right.]

Alright, if you really want to, I suppose we could throw the kids at futoms for a few minutes.

[circumsutus]

[Really, you need to practice that "admitting that Stein's always right" thing, Shiro. It will make your life much easier.]

If you're opposed, I'll just read them a story and put them to bed. It is your birthday, after all.

[lionson]

Nah, I'm not opposed.

[Noooo he'll never admit to it ever.]

Besides, it's like storytime anyway. You're just acting out the story instead of reading it.

[circumsutus]

Plus, they'll remember it more. It's a good idea to get them in the habit of memorizing things.

[lionson]

I'd love to see them try to quote that particular verse, only to mess it up and say stuff about pillows.

[He's walking back and peeking in on the boys now. They're in their pjs and setting up their beds currently.]

[circumsutus]

You're just jealous that my parents had better ideas for bedtime stories than yours did. [Stein knows all about great bedtime story ideas.

So, Stein's going to start in on the story now, and get the boys to help him act it out. Which, of course, they absolutely love.

Somehow, Stein's actually good with children.]

[lionson]

[He remembers how good Stein was with kids, back when they were younger. Shiro is wondering just where these kid skills came from. Does Stein have some secret kids somewhere or something?

Shiro watches for now, though once the futons are made into walls he'll grin and toss a pillow at them.]
