This is the post for anything romantic with my characters! Love at first sight, confessing feelings, going on dates, whatever. If it is romantic, it goes here.

All right. Let's go, you two. [It takes a bit of work for Stein to pay and carry both of the boys, since of course they want to ride piggy-back on him, he's huge to five year olds.

But eventually, they're on their way home.]

[lionson]

[Stein the giant monster of a man.

Shiro will just walk beside them, though he'll step in to scoop up Rin the moment he gets too wriggly and starts to fall off Stein's back.

Then he gets an idea.]

Say, think we could win a race against them?

[Which Rin just nods excitedly to.

A challenge has been issued, Stein. Do you accept?]

[circumsutus]

Hold on tight, Yukio. [Stein grins, and waits for Shiro to take off running. He'll even give the older man a head start.]

[lionson]

[Daww how nice.

Shiro is totally taking advantage of that, by the way. He's running down the street as fast as he safely can with a small child on his back.]

[circumsutus]

[And here comes Stein, taking advantage of his extra height to catch up, one arm holding Yukio to his chest.]

[lionson]

Cheater!

[TRYING TO RUN FASTER though he is obviously lagging behind, even if Rin is shouting for him to go faster.]

[circumsutus]

[Running faster. Stein and Yukio are going to win this.]

[lionson]

[They definitely are, but Shiro is going to put forth a good effort at least.

Where are they racing to, anyway?]

[circumsutus]

[Sometimes, you just need to run. It's a good use of energy, and the boys like to race.]

[lionson]

[And then sometimes you need to steal grab a skateboard and go zooming past, because there is a small child on your back who is screaming in your ear to go faster.

See you later, shitlords.]

[circumsutus]

Hey! That's cheating!

[Yukio, of course, picks this moment to say "Go faster, Papa Stein!" So Stein has to run faster.

Hopefully, he won't trip and land on his face.]

[lionson]

[Don't feel bad, Stein. Shiro will get what's coming to him. If anyone's going to trip, it's the dirty cheater.

He tries to look back and make a face at Stein, but by doing so he takes his eyes off of where he's going. Rin's scream comes a half-second before Shiro crashes into a low wall and lands in some bushes.]

[circumsutus]

[He's not going to curse, not with Yukio clinging to him, can't have the boy picking up bad language. But Stein certainly doesn't slow down.

Shiro, he's not too concerned about. The guy's pretty tough, and he knows how to fall. But Rin... even with his absurd strength, he's still a little kid.]

[lionson]

[So loving, Stein.

Rin is fine, and in fact is just sitting on Shiro's back, blinking in confusion. That sure was a tumble, but since he landed on Shiro, he wasn't hurt.

Shiro is mostly unharmed too, just with a face full of branches and a pride full of hurt.]

[circumsutus]

[Stein, very deliberately, walks a few steps past anywhere that Shiro could claim to be, then turns back.]

Get up, senpai, you're scaring the children.

[lionson]

[Shiro moves to flip Stein off, but he remembers that there are children nearby, so that middle finger quickly becomes an open-hand wave. This makes Rin laugh for some reason.

Then he finally pulls himself out of the bush, but not before letting Rin slide off of his back. There are twigs in his hair and on his coat by the way.]

...alright. You win.

[circumsutus]

Of course I won. [He pats Yukio on the head.]

Yukio picked the right papa for this competition.

[lionson]

[Sob Stein how do you out-dad him?

Rin and Shiro have matching frowny faces though.]

You don't gotta rub it in you know.

[circumsutus]

[Because Stein is the ultimate dad.]

It's all right, Rin, you can come with me next time.

[lionson]

[Now Shiro has lost his other son, who is eagerly going over to hold Stein's hand and walk with him.]

Noooo! You're kidnapping my boys!

[circumsutus]

They're leaving with me of their own free will. [And he pats Rin on the head too.]

We're going to go get ice cream.

[lionson]

[Okay, he'll stop with the dramatics and go along with them. Because Stein is totally one of 'his boys' too. Just in another way.]

Again? These kids are going to be too hyped up to go to bed.

[circumsutus]

[A dramatic sigh, as Rin tugs excitedly on Stein's hand and begs for ice cream.]

Then we'll just have to wait for tomorrow. If you boys don't get to sleep, your Papa Shiro and I won't be able to get anything done.

[lionson]

[This prompts Yukio to ask what they need to do, and Shiro just grins.]

Oh, it's very, very, very boring work. Like cleaning the house, doing the laundry, washing the clothes...

[Blatant lies. But they are lies to protect the fragile minds of children.]

But if you boys want to help us with all the chores, you can stay up and work all night too.

[circumsutus]

Cleaning the toilets sounds like a good job for you, Yukio.
