Ok so I am trash and want to do fate AUs. Here's what I've got to offer:

Servants:

Rin: Berserker, Saber, Rider, or Caster (last one is for laughs and fire)
Luca: Caster, Assassin
Shiro: Literally any class, fite me
Watanuki: Caster
Others: I can probably come up with something, just let me know if you want someone else. Just look at my muselist if you want someone else.


Literally all of mine work for Masters too, but Watanuki or Shiro would be particularly good choices for fighting/power, and Rin, Satoshi, or Luca would be good choices for heartbreak.

You make it really hard to tell a dramatic story, you know.

[But yes, it was him.]

Look, the point is, it's not just about giving mana. It's...really intimate. And can have unintended consequences sometimes.

I wanted you to cut to the chase, Atsushi. [ JUST SIGHS ] If you're saying that, does that mean that you've done it?

Yes, I did. And it really, really complicated things. Archer was a bit of an asshole, and my senpai who was involved in the grail war didn't make things any better.

N-not that I would be an asshole to you, but I just want to make sure that you're sure about this.

[dereban]

First of all: your senpai is an asshole. Second of all... would you really want to do it with someone like me? I lied to you about not having a wish.

[You don't know the half of it.]

It's alright. You had your reasons for lying about it, right? So it's okay. I would want to do it with you if you have no reservations about it, yes.

Though, um...Dazai-san and Archer were both men.

[He. Has never been with a woman, whoops.]

[ SHE SURE FUCKING DOESN'T ]

The reasons behind it are just. . . I didn't want you to make fun of me if I told you.

[ Her wish is honestly kind of pitiful. ]

And I don't. [ Have any reservations, she means. She's trying so hard to keep her cool even though she's actually really nervous about the idea, given that she's never done it before. ] Also, I don't take issue with you having been with guys before all of this?

[ Although now her face is kind of burning scarlet at the thought. ]

I wouldn't make fun of you for it. I might get upset, if it is an evil wish, but anything made with good intentions is fine.

And...well. I'm glad you're okay with that, but. Er. I told you because I've only been with men before. S-so this will be. New. To me.

[Oh boy that's awkward to admit to. But it's alright, they can do this.

It's not evil? Or at least, I don't think it is. It's just that my wish is to "have friends".

[ It's a very lonely wish, and it shows in how awkward her response is. ]

[It's...something. And honestly, Atsushi can relate to it. His own wish back in the third grail war had been similar.]

My wish was to have a family who loved me, so if your wish is silly then so was mine.

[His wish this time around is a bit different though.]

[ She hears what he has to say and just. . . hm. Yeah, that's relatable, but-- ]

Back when I was in the third grail war, that was my wish.

[Oh look he didn't say why his wish changed.]

[dereban]

That's not what I meant.

Why is it different now?

[moonlightbeast]

Well...a family wouldn't help much now, would it? Regardless of how this war ends, I'll be heading back to the throne of heroes eventually.

[He sounds a little sad as he says that, too.]

[dereban]

. . . then what is your wish right now?

[moonlightbeast]

[He is decidedly not looking at Inaba when he says the next bit, with his focus on his plate of food instead. A plate he is poking at, rather than eating.]

To be human again. To live the life I didn't get, since I died so young.

[dereban]

[ . . . Oh.

Now she's kind of sad as she finds herself frowning and just doesn't say a single word and just goes all the way to get close enough to him to just pull Atsushi into a hug. ]

[moonlightbeast]

[Oh no, not gestures of comfort. His one true weakness.

Atsushi accepts the hug, setting down his utensil so he can place his hand on the top of Inaba's head. It's been a long time since he's gotten a hug, and even the ones he used to get were never that good. So this is comforting to him, and it makes the corner of his mouth twitch up in a smile.]

It's not that sad of a wish, is it?

[dereban]

[ To be honest, it's a bit of a strange comfort to her, too. It's not as if Inaba finds herself hugging people often - if at all, really - and it's a warmth that she thought that she would never get in her life until right this very moment. ]

It's pretty sad, you know.

[moonlightbeast]

...I suppose it is.

[But even as he says that, he's smiling softly. Because it doesn't feel so bad, to admit it to Inaba. Maybe everything will be okay now. Maybe they can win this war, and both of them can get their wishes.

In his heart, he thinks it's unlikely. There's some strong contenders this time, and Caster hasn't even been seen yet. But he can hope, at least for the moment.]

[dereban]

Yeah. But we should forget about that for now if we're going to do that. I don't think being sad is a good way to start things off.

[moonlightbeast]

...ah. Right.

[That is still a thing that needs to happen, yes.]

Perhaps we should move somewhere more comfortable first?

[dereban]

[ It sure is a thing that needs to happen, yes. ]

My room should be fine for that sort of thing, right?

[ Trying... really hard... to stay calm for this and not flustered. Even if she is one step away from flustered. ]

[moonlightbeast]

It should be. It has a bed, so. Yes.

[Okay, yeah, this is making him a bit embarrassed. There is a tinge of pink on his cheeks as he reaches for her hand to lead her up to her bedroom.]

[dereban]

[ She's quiet for a good few moments before his embarrassment kind of makes her own show up, glancing away as she takes his hand, looking a little flustered. ]

Thankfully it's a big bed, so it should be enough for the two of us...

[ They are both good at this. ]
